I’m always afraid of doing a photo session on a day with bad weather promised, but when Jean-Francois and Mary had traveled from London to meet with me to do their engagement session, we just had to be brave and  do our best with what the weather was.
That’s why I love when my couples are up for trying out new things and new locations.  We started our session at the Cliffs of Moher visitor centre, but we quickly realised it was just far too busy with crowds to get that intimate feel we wanted for their photos.
So… I decided to bring them to an area on the other side of the Cliffs that I frequent with my family on many Sunday walks.  It turned out to be a very interesting and fun adventure and we fought through the gale force winds and managed to capture some memorable shots from the session.  I am really looking forward to photographing their wedding in August, and we have even decided on some other interesting locations for their wedding shots… so be sure to check back later this year 🙂
