New Year, New Start, New Wedding Here's a few images from the first wedding of 2014. January 3rd, 2014, the day after the big storm that tore up a lot of the local coastline in Co. Clare. I'm sure there were lots of prayers and "broken" child of prague's doing the rounds to appease the weather gods for a bit of relief from the storm, well... it worked. To think we were able to get outside for some of the wedding shots this day was a miracle. I was so happy for Aoife and Niall, and the day turned out beautiful.
They were married in Aoife's local church in Kilfenora and the reception was held at the ever beautiful Falls Hotel in Ennistymon. There was still an air of the Christmas holidays about the place and the atmosphere was joyous. Aoife wore a beautiful embroidered tulle dress from Catherine Deane Bridal in London, which she just so happened to be their first customer of their London showroom! She wore a fabulous pair of shoes from Harriet Wilde of London (super comfortable looking too).
The ceremony was filled with beautiful music by the Kilfenora choir and local musicians, while more music was had by the Bentley Boys at the reception. Flowers were by West Clare Flowers in Ennistymon and the fab wedding cake by Paul Callaghan of Cakes by Calso Cooks in Ennis.
All in all it was a great day and I want to wish Aoife and Niall all the best for their married life and thanks again for choosing me to document your day 🙂
